Healthy Vegetarian Diet

What makes for a healthy vegetarian diet? Well, over the years people have been living the vegetarian lifestyle for quite some time. And, because it's been so long that they've been doing it, some consistent things have popped up. Namely, those who change their diet tend to end up back on something similar because they really don't know what healthy IS.

Easy diet plans means that you eat things that taste good, and they don't make you gag when you do that. A healthy vegetarian diet shouldn't consist of tons of honey substituting for the sugar you're not eating. That's just a copout. It doesn't mean that you buy that decadent desert, that, just because it's in a health food store, it has to be heathy, right? Wrong.

A vegetarian diet plan means that you eat little sugar and white flour products, more vegetables, particularly raw or just-steamed vegetables. You supplement with the B-Vitamins because they are poorly lacking in a vegetarian diet, as is magnesium. You have tons of plain yogurt, not sweetened by anything but lots of fruit. A healthy vegetarian diet should LOOK healthy. Does it have lots of greens such as collard and Swiss chard? Did you cook it with three other vegetables, or did you serve it with a ton of starch product such as rice, or potatoes, or wheat of some sort.

A healthy vegan diet is one where you combine many different kinds of things together, excluding things which have white flour in them, white sugar (and all other sugars while you're at it except fruits). You substitute whole grains such as triticale or whole oats (good for the heart). You drink lots of whey protein drinks. You try and stay away from soy products as much as possible (Look up soy and dangers, besides the fact that most vegetarians are allergic to soy because that's how they pretend they don't like or want meat).

A lacto ovo vegetarian diet is something someone goes on if they are vegetarian because they feel guilty about eating meat. It means you CAN'T eat meat. Its' the one which makes everyone think of the term "cuckoo" when they hear the term 'vegetarian'. It means you can't eat beef, lamp, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, or animal flesh of any kind, but they're willing to eat dairy and egg products. Obsession causes problems, guys. Every time anybody has such excessive obsessions, somebody suffers. How 'bout if you wake up to such things? Obsession leads one to more obsession until finally all of the world has been blocked out. You're just paranoid, and you're acting out fears as if they were holy. Fears aren't a holy thing. Balance your life, balance your energies, balance your diet, and you'll end up balanced. If you don't do that, you'll end up unbalanced.

So, when I say, "healthy vegetarian diet", I mean, eat more vegetables. I don't mean "Be insane". To eat healthy, one has to balance what one eats. You shouldn't also go out and kill a cow in your back yard, then eat it in one sitting. You shouldn't drink cups of blood, either. Nor should you chew on a lamb's leg while watching Nascar on television. However, to have a slice of ham every now and then, that's also healthy. Obsession is the real ill in life.
